One of our shipmates enjoys the view of downtown New Orleans as we begin to sail with the current, down the mighty Mississippi.

@Phil David Morris, 2012: Well - the French Quarter didn't flood so this area may not have been so bad.......you see the folks way back when were smarter. They built where it DIDN'T flood - on the more elevated ground. It's only once we evolved to be stupid that we started building where we shouldn't.....because we could.
